The new COMPAS - Africa Network was initiated in 2016.  One of its major initiatives is the African Learning Institute on Local and Indigenous Knowledges for Community Resilience which was held in Ghana in 2016 and will be held in Kenya in mid 2018. 

 

The network is also promoting a Community of Learning and Practice (COLP) with like minded organizations across the African continent who are committed to promoting endogenous development and community resilience. 

 

A blog site has also been started.
